Semi truck spotted in Monte Lake along Highway 97

A semi truck has been spotted in Monte Lake along Highway 97 between Kamloops and Vernon this afternoon.

Witnesses reported the transport truck in the lake today, June 27.

Drive B.C. is reporting a vehicle incident between Buff Frontage Road and Monte Lake Road along Highway 97 that has reduced the highway to single-lane, alternating traffic.

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP did not immediately respond to a request for information about the incident.
