Fairmont Banff Springs declared world’s best luxury hotel

Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff is the best luxury hotel in the world.

That’s according to the readers of TravelAwaits.com, who ranked it on the top of a list of nine.

The Banff Springs hotel is the only Canadian location to make the chart.

“After a day on the slopes, head to the Willow Stream Spa for rejuvenating luxury therapeutic bathing,” reads the bio on TravelAwaits.

“Guests can book treatments and enjoy the cold, warm, and hot pools.”

Located in the heart of Banff National Park, the world famous Banff Springs hotel stands as a landmark in the picturesque alpine town of Banff. Canada's "Castle in the Rockies," has been providing hospitality for more than 130 years, according to Fairmont's website.

The second-best luxury hotel, according to the list, is the Adolphus in Dallas, Texas, followed by the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
