Hot, sunny week ahead in Okanagan and Kamloops: Environment Canada

The possibility of thundershowers this morning, July 18, should give way to clearing skies and a week of sunshine in Kamloops and the Okanagan.

There’s a 40% chance of showers this morning with a risk of thunderstorms throughout the region. The wind will pick up and gust up to 40 km/h this afternoon.

Highs in Kamloops and much of the Okanagan are forecast to be 28 Celsius today. The South Okanagan should be slightly warmer, according to Environment Canada.

The rest of the week shows sunny skies with highs rising to 33 C next weekend in the Okanagan and 35 C in Kamloops.

The Weather Network forecast shows much the same in terms of sunshine and temperatures in the low 30s through, at least, until the end of July.
