A Kamloops man is in custody after robbing a store and allegedly producing a weapon.
Police were called to a store on the 900 block of Columbia Street West in Sahali around 2:30 p.m. yesterday, Aug. 3, 2022.
A person suspected of stealing allegedly produced a weapon when stopped by an employee, according to an RCMP media release.
“Officers located a suspect matching the description nearby and quickly arrested him,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.
Parmvir Singh Nagra, 27, of Kamloops is charged with one count of robbery.
He was scheduled to appear in court today.
