A B.C. family spent an hour watching a humpback whale get up close to their boat near Vancouver Island this week.
A video posted to YouTube by BadAlpinist, Aug. 3, shows the whale rubbing itself on the boat and flapping its fins.
"He's rolling in the water," exclaims the person filming the video. "It's about the size of a school bus."
"This is so cool."
