Human remains found near Peachland

FOUL PLAY SUSPECTED

PEACHLAND – Someone walking their dog found a body near Peachland on Friday.

West Kelowna RCMP said in a press release the human remains were found off Trepanier Road. The area has been cordoned off by police.

The cause of death hasn’t been released, but foul play is suspected.

The RCMP’s Southeast District Major Crime Unit is investigating.

The B.C. Coroners Service is working to figure out the victim’s identity, age, ethnicity and gender.
