
Kelowna RCMP respond to possible drowning in Okanagan Lake
Kelowna police officers responded to reports of a missing man in the city's downtown last night.
At 6:50 p.m., Aug. 13, the Kelowna RCMP received a report of a man who had fallen into Okanagan Lake at the marina and did not surface, according to a press release from the RCMP.

Police officers and the Kelowna Fire Department were on scene and searched the area.
The Kelowna RCMP is requesting the public avoid the area while the search is ongoing.
The RCMP could not be immediately reached for comment this morning, Aug. 14, for an update on the search.
