Coroner confirms identity of man found dead near Mission Flats Road

KAMLOOPS – The man found dead in a field off Mission Flats Road in Kamloops has been identified.
He was Alexander McIntosh, 87, of Kamloops.
The family filed a missing person's report with RCMP Aug. 19, 2013. McIntosh was found in the field April 8, 2014, in the morning. Foul play has been ruled out.
The family has been notified of McIntosh's death. The B.C. Coroners Service continues to investigate his death.
