
UPDATE: New wildfire northeast of Naramata under control
A new wildfire burning roughly three kilometres northeast of Naramata is now under control.
The fire is currently 0.4 ha in size, said B.C. Wildfire Service information officer Aydan Coray.
There are five wildfire personnel on site, she said. As of this afternoon, it was listed as under control.
The fire is suspected to be human caused and is burning to the east of the Kettle Valley Railway.
