Robber gets away clean

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for a man who robbed a Tranquille Road laundry last night.

Sgt. Edward Preto says a man entered the McCleaners Drycleaning and Laundry at 301 Tranquille Road and demanded money from the clerk. No weapon was produced. A police dog failed to track him.

The man is described as six-feet-tall, skinny and wearing blue jeans and runners.

Anyone with information is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
