Woman assaulted and e-scooter stolen in Kamloops
A woman was assaulted and her e-scooter stolen in Kamloops's Brocklehurst neighbourhood early Monday morning.
A woman riding her electric scooter near Holt Street and Parkcrest Avenue was assaulted around 1 a.m. Monday, Sept 12, before a man took her scooter by force, according to a Kamloops RCMP media release issued today, Sept. 14.
The woman reported the theft and assault to police and the detachment is now looking to the public's help.
Kamloops RCMP didn't describe the scooter in the media release, but the suspect is described as about 5'6" tall with a thin build.
He was riding a red mountain bike, wearing a red baseball cap, black track pants and a black sports jacket.
