Sedin twins spotted in Penticton

Two Vancouver Canucks icons are in Penticton ahead of the NHL Young Stars tournament.

Daniel and Henrik Sedin were spotted in Penticton, captured in a photo posted to the Barley Mill Brew Pub's social media. They stood alongside Kori Iceton, who works at the pub.

The Sedin twins played 17 seasons with the Canucks and will both be inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame this year.

Their arrival comes just before the Young Stars tournament at the South Okanagan Events Centre, which pits league prospects against each other from Sept. 16 to 19.

Over six games, prospects for the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets will compete for bragging rights and more attention from their respective prospect team.
