Vehicle fire partially blocking traffic on Okanagan Connector
DriveB.C. is warning travellers this afternoon of a vehicle fire that is blocking a lane of traffic along the Okanagan Connector.
The incident is being reported along Highway 97C in the eastbound direction, near the Elkhart brake check east of Merritt, according to DriveB.C.'s latest post, at roughly 12 p.m., Oct. 2.

An image of the incident shows the right lane being partially blocked as a white car is on fire. Emergency crews are on scene.
