TRENDING NOW: Tesla driver uses extension cord to secure box spring to roof

It was an unusual sight to see in Mississauga, Ont. for the police department.

A Tesla driver was spotted driving along Highway 427 with an extension cord securing a box spring to their vehicle, according to a video posted to the Ontario Provincial Police's Twitter page.

They were charged with an insecure load, according to the Tweet that's been seen more than 35,000 times. It was posted Oct. 9.
