Salmon Arm RCMP ask for help to find wanted person

Police in Salmon Arm are asking for the public’s help to find a wanted person.

Tyra Sim of Tappen is wanted for theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, according to an RCMP media release.

The theft charge is out of Blind Bay, while the possession of stolen property is from Salmon Arm, court documents say.

RCMP describe Sim as a 24-year-old Caucasian female, 5’2” tall, 100 lb. with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tyra Sim is urged to contact their local police, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
