Kamloops robbery suspect used Halloween mask as disguise

Police are hoping someone can help them track down a robbery suspect who disguised themselves with a Halloween mask.

Officers and a police dog were called at around 10 p.m. yesterday, Oct. 12, to a gas station in the 900 block of Columbia Street West to a report of a robbery.

The suspect, who was wearing a white Halloween mask, entered the gas bar armed with a knife and demanded cash.

They took off on foot with toward Summit Drive with chocolate bars, energy drinks, beef jerky and lighters, RCMP said.

The suspect was wearing, along with the white mask, all back clothing, gloves and a wig.

Anyone who witnessed, has surveillance, or information related to this investigation is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-36615.
