TRENDING: Meteorite lights up Seattle’s sky

A meteorite over the Pacific Northwest lit up the night's sky last week.

Witnesses told KIRO 7 News of a bright flash in the sky at roughly 10:18 p.m. on Wednesday night, Oct 12.

The Pacific Northwest Weather Watch YouTube channel, a channel focusing on weather in the region, captured a video of it appearing over Seattle.
