West Kelowna business owner charged with child porn

WEST KELOWNA – A West Kelowna business owner has been charged with child luring and child pornography after he alleged communicated with a member of the RCMP pretending to be a 13-year-old girl.

Tyler James Nowek, 29, co-owns Ultimate Hockey & Skate in West Kelowna. According to a report by Global Okanagan, RCMP executed a search warrant at Nowek’s downtown store after an exchange of allegedly sexual communications online.

Nowek will appear before the courts June 13.
