A man previously reported missing by West Kelowna RCMP has been found deceased.

James Anolik had been missing for two weeks when he was reported missing to RCMP on Oct. 11.

Police had checked outreach groups, local hospitals and his known hangouts but there was no sign of Anolik.

RCMP confirmed today, Oct. 26, in a news release that he was found deceased.

No other information was released to the public by police.
