iN VIDEO: Viral Okanagan artist releases Halloween song

A Lake Country man that had a viral hit with a self-deprecating song about Canada is back with another release for Halloween.

Clark W., a.k.a. Jordan Wiberg, has released his latest track We Love Halloween.

Along with a line that says your Halloween costume is made redundant by your mother's insistence to wear a winter jacket over it, the song takes a tongue-in-cheek look at how Canadians celebrate Halloween.

The Lake Country music producer shot to fame in 2020 when his hit Up here in Canada went viral. To date, the video has received 2.3 million views.

Wiberg runs Okanagan Mixing Studio and records under his comedic country music alter-ego Clark W.

He's released other tracks such as "My Mom is Hot" and "Marriage is Always Sexy," but not everything he does is for comic effect.

In August, Wiberg won a Sports Emmy Award for a podcast he produced for NBC Sports at the Tokyo Olympics.

Ben Bulmer

After a decade of globetrotting, U.K. native Ben Bulmer ended up settling in Canada in 2009. Calling Vancouver home he headed back to school and studied journalism at Langara College. From there he headed to Ottawa before winding up in a small anglophone village in Quebec, where he worked for three years at a feisty English language newspaper. Ben is always on the hunt for a good story, an interesting tale and to dig up what really matters to the community.
