Man hit by train in Kamloops seriously injured

A man was hit by a train in downtown Kamloops early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the 3 Avenue and Lorne Street crossing around 1:37 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, according to a Kamloops RCMP issued today, Nov. 3.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Police are now investigating the collision alongside CP Railway Police.

This is the second man hit by a train along the CP Railway in October, with another man killed on Oct. 2 west of 1 Avenue.

The Oct. 2 incident also remains under investigation, Kamloops RCMP told iNFOnews.ca earlier this week.
