Kamloops RCMP on lookout for attempted robbery suspect

A woman walking through a North Kamloops parking lot nearly had her bag snatched on Sunday night.

She was waling in the 700 block of Tranquille Road near Northills Mall, when a man approached from behind and unsuccessfully reached for her bag, according to Kamloops RCMP.

Police say the incident happened at around 9:15 p.m. Nov. 6.

The woman was uninjured.

Police describe the suspect as Caucasian man who is about 5'7". He was wearing a red hat, black puffy jacket and dark pants.
