Man arrested for ‘indecent acts’ in Kelowna

Kelowna RCMP have a man in custody after he was spotted earlier this month performing "indecent acts."

Police sent a plea for information to the public last week, along with a photo from surveillance footage.

"The Kelowna RCMP have identified and arrested the individual suspected of an indecent act," a Kelowna RCMP news release reads.

It's unclear whether the man is being charged, when he was arrested or whether he is still in custody.

"The Kelowna RCMP would like to thank the media and public for their assistance. This file is currently under investigation and there will be no further comments," the news release reads.

The man was captured on private security camera performing multiple indecent acts on the 1900-block of Lindahl Street, between Oct. 27 and Nov. 2.
