Vernon RCMP on hunt for violent wanted man

A violent wanted man is on the loose and Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are asking for the pubic's help to find him.

Timothy James Ross, 28, is currently wanted for the following offences: discharging a firearm with the intent to wound, maim, disfigure, or endanger life, and discharging a firearm into or at a place while being reckless as to the life or safety of another person.

Police say he's considered violent and should not be approached. If seen, they ask the public to call 9-1-1.

RCMP describe Ross as 5'10" tall, 155 lb. with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a distinctive tattoo on the top of his left hand in the shape of a cross.
