Heavy snowfall warning for Trans-Canada through Rogers Pass

Interior B.C. highways like the Trans-Canada and Highway 3 could soon see up to 15 centimetres of snow.

A Pacific frontal system is expected to sweep through the southern Interior tomorrow, Nov. 24, bringing heavy snow along with it, according to a snowfall warning issued by Environment Canada today.

The stretch from Rogers Pass to Eagle Pass on Highway 1 will see snow tomorrow morning before the system moves to Highway 3. Further south, the heavy snow is expect at Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass tomorrow afternoon. Drivers should expect low visibility.

The snow will taper to flurries in the evening as the system moves further south.
