Weekly direct flights to Mexico return to Kelowna airport

Things just got more convenient for those dreaming of warm sunny, beach destinations and beautiful resorts this winter.

Sunwing will be adding direct flights from Kelowna to resort destinations in Cancun and Mazatlan starting mid-December. 

“From white and golden beaches to iconic attractions, exciting excursions and thriving downtown cores rich with culture, plus our curated selection of all-inclusive resorts designed for every travel style, each destination offers a curated vacation experience," Sunwing's Andrew Dawson said in a media release.

Sunwing will be offering weekly flights from Kelowna to Cancun on Thursdays from Dec. 15 to Apr. 13, 2023, and weekly flights to Mazatlán on Fridays from Dec. 16 until April 14, 2023.

“We are very excited to see Sunwing return to Kelowna International Airport,” Kelowna airport director Sam Samaddar said in the release.
