Kelowna’s Stacey Roy wins ‘LEGO Masters’ Season 3

From playing with Lego as a little girl with her dad, Kelowna-based Stacey Roy has now been crowned winner of LEGO Masters Season 3.

Roy was one of six Canadians in the 24-person competition on the U.S.-based Fox reality TV show.

Teamed with fellow influencer Nick Della Mora from Ontario, they were crowned champions last night, Dec. 14, according to a media release.

The victory comes with a grand prize of $100,000.

Roy is also the producer of the TV show The Nerdy Bartender and hosts the Twitch streaming show Cooking with Stacey.

Their LEGO creation will be displayed at the LEGOLAND resort in New York.

He spent five years at the 100 Mile Free Press, starting in the darkroom, moving on to sports and news reporting before becoming the advertising manager.
