TRENDING NOW: Barbie has released a teaser for upcoming movie

Fans of Barbie can get an idea of what the upcoming movie might be about through the new preview.

Most of the trailer presents a story of young girls dressed in pioneer clothing while playing a prehistoric setting, having to settle with lame baby dolls because better nothing better had been invented yet. But then they find themselves eclipsed by a giant Barbie and her perfect curvy figure. The children are in awe and after getting a wink from Margot Robbie – the actress playing Barbie – they begin destroying all their dolls.

The most interesting clips are all within the final five seconds of the trailer, when Ryan Gosling makes a brief appearance as Ken.

Warner Bros. Pictures is producing the film and it is expected to be released next summer.
