Osoyoos man pleads guilty to illegal firearm possession
PENTICTON — An Osoyoos man pleaded guilty to possession and storage of unlawful firearms after he was arrested last year in an undercover investigation.
Tyler Ryan Cuff, born in 1983, was arrested in Langley, B.C. last August during an undercover investigation led by the U.S. Bureau of Firearms, Tobacco and Alcohol. Cuff was caught when he tried to sell a weapon to an undercover cop, said Crown prosecutor John Swanson.
Judge Meg Shaw released him on bail in Penticton Provincial court today. He is not to possess a firearm or weapon as part of his release.
Cuff will be sentenced in Surrey Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. May 13, 2014.
