This is a terrible depiction of our coast guard. I’ve been rescued by them and they are professional very well trained people. Going into a CG station is like walking into a firehall. One minute they are all sitting there drinking coffee the next they out there risking their LIVES So this is not the way we treat our heros. My best friend is a coast guard member if I started writing his credentials up I would be here for a while.. these guys can operate boats in conditions that would give the average person nightmares. THEY SAVE LIVES please a little more respect….
