Kamloops man shot in targeted attack

POLICE LOOKING FOR TWO MEN

Kamloops Mounties are looking for two men responsible for shooting a man in the leg in what police say was a targeted attack.

RCMP were called to a Fairview Avenue home around 10:30 p.m. last night to what was initially reported as a man shot in the face, according to Sgt. Dave Prentice. They found a 48-year-old man shot once in the leg. He was taken to Royal Inland Hospital and is expected to recover.

Kamloops General Investigation Section and dog handlers worked the case but no one was arrested at the scene. Police have yet to release detailed descriptions of the men.
