Philadelphia police say four teenagers are being questioned in an unprovoked sucker-punch attack on an intellectually disabled man captured on video, and one has been charged in a later assault in which a school principal was hit in the face with a brick.
Police say the boys, who range in age from 12 to 15, are seen in a video of the Memorial Day attack on the 38-year-old man. Police said Wednesday that three were picked up at a Philadelphia charter school and the fourth picked up separately. No charges were immediately filed.
Police say a 15-year-old being questioned in that case provided information about his involvement in an assault on a principal breaking up a fight outside school on May 31. He and another youth face charges for that.
