Snow expected on Interior highways
The Coquihalla Highway, Highway 3 and Highway 1 are all expected to come under some late season snow tonight as a cold front sweeps across the southern parts of the province.
Environment Canada says the Coquihalla from Hope to Merritt, Hwy 3 from Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass and the Trans Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass could all see snow as snow levels drop to 1,300 metres.
Snowfall accumulations will vary from five to 10 centimetres with the possibility of some areas receiving as much as 15 cm.
Motorists are reminded to be prepared for winter driving conditions when travelling through the mountain passes.
