Gleneden Community Hall
The Gleneden Association was established in the late 1920’s by the Finnish Settlers of the area. Built in 1929, the original Hall was a log building and has a rich history of serving the community. Destroyed in the Eden fire of 1973, its immense purpose was recognized and so it was lovingly rebuilt by community members. Throughout the decades the Hall has hosted many events such as dances, music performances, open mic coffee houses, various classes, club meetings, flea markets, 4-H events, weddings, funerals, celebrations of life, gatherings and sports events such as pickle ball. The Gleneden Hall is available for rent and as such the perfect ’empty canvas’ for your dream events, may it be a special celebration with friends and family, or the venue to share your talents with the community. It is the hope of the current Board of Directors to do some major renovations to the 50-year-old building and have a grand celebration for the Association’s 100th Anniversary in 2029.
