Inmate bites guard at Kamloops jail

KAMLOOPS - An officer at the Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre is still off work after sustaining a bite from an inmate during an assault Saturday evening.  A statement from the Corrections branch of the Ministry of Justice says the inmate was being removed from his cell on April 25 when he bit the guard.
