A Kamloops man lost consciousness while driving, crashed and died in Abbotsford Saturday.
The 61-year-old was travelling the Lower Mainland westbound on Highway 1 at Number 2 Road with his wife in a brown 2003 Toyota Camry when he lost consciousness and couldn't be revived. The car veered off the highway from the slow lane, went into the ditch before returning to the highway where it rolled onto its roof.
The man was pronounced dead and his wife received minor injuries. There were no other vehicles involved.
The coroners office and Fraser Valley Traffic Services are investigating the incident. The name of the deceased will not be released pending further investigation.
