Whitewater Cooks author to stir the pot in Kelowna

KELOWNA – The author of a bestselling line of cookbooks will be in Kelowna next week signing autographs and speaking about her famous line of sauces.

The author of four bestselling cookbooks, Shelley Adams of the Whitewater Cooks series was the former head chef at Fresh Tracks Café at Whitewater Ski Resort in Nelson. Her first book, titled Whitewater Cooks, Pure, Simple and Real features easy-to-prepare, healthy recipes that don’t require a lot of ingredients.

“These recipes can be prepared with ingredients most of us stock in our fridges and cupboards and can be made in a short amount of time if you have done a little bit of planning and preparation beforehand,” she writes on her website.

Adams will be at Lakehouse Home Store on Bernard Avenue Saturday, Nov. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m.
