New cookbook and humorous essays on tap for “Deceptively Delicious” author Jessica Seinfeld

If you’re still not comfortable in the kitchen, Jessica Seinfeld is ready to hold your hand one more time.

Seinfeld is writing two new books for Ballantine Books, an imprint of Random House. The first, a cookbook, will be released in fall 2016; the second will be a collection of humorous essays and observations.

Seinfeld, wife of comedian Jerry Seinfeld, has written three bestselling cookbooks, including “Deceptively Delicious” and “The Can’t Cook Book: Recipes for the Absolutely Terrified.” The former book, which taught parents how to trick their children into eating healthy produce, triggered a lawsuit — and tabloid headlines — by another cookbook author who claimed Seinfeld had stolen her ideas. The suit was dismissed.
