NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Tony Award-winning musical “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder” is taking its mayhem on the road.
Producer Joey Parnes said Monday that the show will kick off a national tour in Schenectady, New York, this September and visit Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Washington D.C., and Toronto, among other stops.
The comedy is about an impoverished man who discovers he’s ninth in line to inherit a fortune. So he decides to eliminate the eight heirs of the family standing in his way.
It features a book by Robert L. Freedman, music by Steven Lutvak, and wry lyrics by Freedman and Lutvak.
