Vernon RCMP would like to return lost purse to owner

VERNON – Police would like to find the owner of a purse found in a parking lot in Vernon last week.

RCMP say the cloth, crossover-style purse was found in the parking lot of DJ’s Perogie Kitchen at 4409 29 St. on Friday, Feb. 12 and turned into the detachment.

The purse had some money inside, according to a media release.

If the purse belongs to you, stop by the Vernon RCMP detachment and ask to speak with an officer.

You’ll be asked to identify the items and the amount of money found in the bag to claim it.
