Vernon RCMP looking for help solving recent theft

VERNON – Police believe someone must have seen something in a recent high value theft.

Sometime between the evening of March 11 and the morning of March 13, a 2006 Bobcat S220 valued at $20,000 was stolen from a parking lot on 27 Street, Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says.

Given the size of the machine, she says the heist would have been quite noticeable.

“It’s something that would be a quite obvious theft,” Noseworthy says. “It’s a very large machine, someone has to have seen something.”

The machine is orange and white, with A1 Contracting written on the boom.

Anyone who noticed something suspicious in the area, or who has information, is asked to call the Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
