KELOWNA – A 78-year-old man was fined for not stopping at a red light after he crashed into another vehicle and broke through a fence on Pandosy Street Wednesday, March 23.
At around 11:30 a.m. emergency workers were called to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Pandosy and Cadder Avenue. Police determined a red Honda CRV driven by a 78-year-old Kelowna man, failed to stop at a red light. He hit a Toyota Camry that was eastbound on Cadder.
According to Kelowna RCMP no one was injured but the CRV crashed through a fence into private property on Pandosy.
He was issued a $167 violation ticket for failing to stop for red light.
