WEST KELOWNA – A Surrey man is in hospital after being struck by a car while crossing an intersection in West Kelowna yesterday evening.
The 28-year-old man was crossing at Main Street and Elliott Road around 7:15 p.m., April 21, when a westbound blue Mazda 3 struck him.
The man was sent to hospital with minor, non-life threatening injuries, RCMP say in a release.
The driver of the car, a 55-year-old West Kelowna woman, remained on scene.
No charges have been laid and police continue to investigate. They are asking for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to contact Const. Raygan Ennis of West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.
