Kamloops RCMP needs help from the public in solving a residential break and enter in the 600 block of Norbury Rd. between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Thursday morning.
The home owner called police after arriving home to discover a back door open, music playing and the master bedroom 'ransacked.' The house had only been unattended for 30 minutes. The suspect entered the residence and left with various electronics including a flat screen TV and jewellery.
Initial police enquiries in the area did not provide any further leads, but police are hoping someone in the area noticed people or vehicles in the area at that time, particularly if someone in the neighbourhood noticed a person or persons carrying a flat screen TV.
Investigators are also interested in speaking with anyone who observed any suspicious vehicles or people in the area of Norbury Rd. during the days prior to the Thursday morning break in.
Anyone with information is asked to call Const. Canuel of Kamloops RCMP or call Crimestoppers.
