Stay Alert along the Mission Creek Greenway

KELOWNA – If you’re running, walking the dog or looking for elusive Pokemon along a section of the Mission Creek Greenway Regional Park, keep your head up and watch for equipment.

For approximately two weeks starting Tuesday, Aug. 2, Mission Creek Restoration Initiative project crews will be working along the south side of the creek between Casorso Road and Gordon Drive.

While the Greenway will remain open, there will be equipment moving in and out of the 1.3 km section of the recreational trail.

For their safety and that of the workers, Greenway users are asked to obey the instructions of flag people on site and stay out of closed work areas.

The north creek-side Greenway trail will remain open and is not affected by this ongoing work.
