PENTICTON – Drunk fruit pickers picking a fight near 188 Green Ave. East Wednesday night drew police officers as well as Penticton Fire and Rescue.

About five pickers were involved in a fight, according to Sgt. Rick Dellebuur. A person not involved called police suspecting injuries. Officers at the scene were told of a ratchet being used and someone drunk driving away. No one wanted to press charges.

Dellebuur said officers did a patrol looking for the suspected driver.
