Valuable paddle boards ripped off

The Vernon RCMP need your help to find the thieves who made off with five paddle boards worth about $13,000.

The break-in happened early Thursday morning at the KalVida Surf Shop at 13908 Kalamalka Lake Road in Coldstream, right next the the Kal Lake General Store.

At around 1 a.m., someone used a grinder to take off the two locks on a locker on the outside of the business.

RCMP think the thieves used a pickup truck to make their getaway with the paddle boards.

Anyone with information that could help the police out with their investigation are asked to call the Vernon RCMP detachment at 250-545-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
