BREAKING: Crews battle fire at Okanagan Metis Housing complex in West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA – Crews are battling a fire at a two-storey, three-plex in West Kelowna this afternoon.

West Kelowna Fire Rescue was called to the Okanagan Metis Housing complex in the 2400 block of Ingram Road at about 2:40 p.m., Jan. 20.

Firefighters have searched the home and no one was inside. The fire is under control.

A witness says the homeowner was cooking in kitchen and ran from the home screaming.
