Mother Nature has decided we haven’t yet had enough snow

THOMPSON-OKANAGAN – Up to 20 centimetres of snow is expected to fall in parts of the Southern Interior this week.

The affected areas, according to Environment Canada, are the North Okanagan, North Thompson and Shuswap.

According to a special weather statement — not yet a warning — from Environment Canada, up to 10 centimetres of snow are expected to accumulate in the areas beginning tomorrow evening, Feb. 8, and an additional 10 centimetres are expected in the areas on Thursday.

"A warm front combined with Arctic air will bring the next significant round of snow beginning Wednesday evening," the statement says.
