PENTICTON – City Council will be held Tuesday night this week, with an agenda ranging from the biggest hug to tax exemption properties.
There are three delegations on the agenda, including a presentation from Scott Mudry, a resident looking for council’s approval to organize the biggest group hug.
There will also be presentations on the SS Sicamous Master Plan and the Penticton & Area Access Centre.
In staff reports, council will approve a new tax exemption amendment for non-profit organizations for 2015. Also presented will be a renewal of a Vacant Building Registration Permit, Road Closure Bylaw, and 2015 Economic Investment Zone Agreements.
Council has been rescheduled this week to Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
